Teaching Pedagogy

The institute has followed the Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) as given by NAAC on overall institutional performance. The survey results are analyzed as shown below: All the students opined that 85% to 100% syllabus was covered in the class. 95% students had the opinion that the teachers were thoroughly prepared for the classes and rest opined that it was done satisfactorily. All the students felt that teachers were always effective in communicating with students. 90% students described teacher’s approach to teaching as excellent and rest felt that it was very good. All the students opined that teachers were always fair in the internal evaluation process. Yes, students revealed that teachers discussed the assignments every time with them. The SSS analysis shows that the institute regularly takes active interest in promoting internship, student exchange, field visit opportunities for students and that the teaching and mentoring process in our institution significantly facilitates the students in cognitive, social and emotional growth. Students also strongly agree that the institution provides multiple opportunities to learn and grow. They also opined that the teachers inform them about students expected competencies, course outcomes and programme outcomes and that their mentor every time does a necessary follow-up with an assigned task to them.
